School Board Committees

Our committees allow specific board members to focus on operational efficiency, legal compliance, and educational standards. Committee meetings are private.

• Finance & Audit: Oversees budget development, annual audits, tax levies, vendor contracts, and long-term fiscal planning.
• Policy & Governance: Drafts, reviews, and updates district policies to align with state/federal laws, district goals, and student handbooks.
• Curriculum & Instruction: Evaluates academic programming, textbook adoptions, state testing data, educational technology, and special education offerings.
• Facilities, Safety & Transportation: Monitors building maintenance, capital improvement projects, school security protocols, groundskeeping, and busing contracts.
• Personnel & Labor Relations: Focuses on staffing allocations, union contract negotiations, employee benefits, and superintendent performance evaluations.
• Community Engagement & Communications: Coordinates public outreach, community feedback, district branding, and information campaigns for local bond issues or budget referendums.
